Early Childhood Intervention
Home- and play-based developmental support for children from birth to age six — helping families build the everyday skills that set their child up to thrive.
Overview
Watching your child grow comes with big questions. Our voluntary Early Childhood Intervention program walks alongside families of children from birth to age six — helping you understand your child's development and build the everyday skills that set them up to thrive. We meet your family where you're most comfortable: in your own home, in our on-site playroom, or at community playgroups.
What our consultants can do
- Use a developmental screening tool to identify your child's strengths and the areas where a little support could help.
- Share practical strategies and information to support your child's growth toward their milestones.
- Connect you to other services and make referrals when you need them.
- Help you plan for the preschool years ahead.
A voluntary program — no FSCD needed
Early Childhood Intervention is open to families of children from birth to 6 who are experiencing delays in two or more areas of development, and/or have a diagnosed developmental disability. You don't need an FSCD agreement to take part.
