About us

Building new tomorrows

A local, non-profit organization rooted in St. Albert for more than 45 years — walking alongside people with developmental disabilities and their families, at every age and stage of life.

Who We Are

Support that grows with your family

Transitions Rehabilitation Association of St. Albert and District has served our community since 1978. What began as support for a handful of families has grown into programs that span an entire lifetime — from a child’s earliest years right through adulthood.

Through all of that change, our approach has stayed the same. We start with the person, not the paperwork — building on each individual’s strengths, working closely with families, and believing that a little fun and creativity leads to better outcomes for everyone.

What we believe

Everyone deserves to lead their own life, form meaningful relationships, and take their full place in the community.

— with all the rights and responsibilities that come with it. That belief has guided everything we do since 1978.
