Early Childhood Intervention Program

For children from birth to 3 1/2 years old

This voluntary parent program is dedicated to empowering families and fostering the optimal development of children from birth to 3 ½ years of age.

Our Early Childhood Intervention Program is passionate about helping families nurture a strong, healthy home dynamic by addressing the unique needs and priorities of each family who participates.

We support families to understand their child’s development and help build essential skills by providing valuable resources, and creating opportunities that promote the best possible outcomes for their child.

Our services are available in a variety of settings, including the family’s home, Transitions on-site playroom, and at a variety of community-based playgroups.

Our Early Childhood Intervention Consultants Can

Use a developmental screening tool to help identify areas of strength and areas that could benefit from support.

  • Provide information on child development and offer strategies to support the child’s growth and progress towards meeting their developmental milestones.
  • Facilitate referrals to other services as required.
  • Assist in planning for the child’s preschool years.

Our consultants are skilled at navigating a wide range of service options.  They can provide parents with education, support, and the resources needed to empower their family to enhance their child’s ability to thrive.
