Transitions believes in the meaningful inclusion of people of all abilities in the community. 

These upcoming family-friendly community events in St. Albert, Edmonton, Morinville, and Sturgeon County are free or low cost.

March 17

Fix-it Café: Bring a broken item to the St. Albert Library and volunteer “fixers” from the community will help you repair it. CBC Edmonton Open House: Come to the CBC radio and TV studios in Edmonton City Centre Mall for cool family activities and a behind-the-scene look at how the news gets made!

March 17 & 18

Night of Artists: Indoor Artwalk: Walk through the Enjoy Centre and enjoy works of art created by local artists, as well as live musical performances. Entry is free or by donation at the door.

March 18

St. Paddy’s Day Skate: Free skating, hot chocolate, and Timbits at the Kinex Arenda in St. Albert.

March 31

Easter Egg Hunt: Bring a donation to the Morinville food bank and meet at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for fun activities for kids!

April 4 – 12

St. Albert Rotary Music Festival: Attend a performance to listen to local music students share their pieces.

April 8

Beautiful Me: A one-day event that offers a confidence-building opportunity to youth 13 – 18.  The event is free, but parents & guardians must register their son/daughter in advance before March 18.

April 28

Share & Wear: Come shop for free at the St. Albert Alliance Church!  Donations accepted the day before.  See the link for more details.

May 29 – June 3

St. Albert International Children’s Festival of the Arts: Everyone is welcome to this celebration of the arts for children.  There are free events available on site.  Tickets for paid performances and activities go on sale April 5th to the general public.
