November

St. Albert Youth Events Calendar for November 2019: This calendar is published by the City of St. Albert to highlight the events happening in the community for youth.

November 19

Sleep Workshop: A free workshop on sleep hosted by the St. Albert PCN.

Cultural and Community Kitchen: This free cooking workshop at the St. Albert Community Village happens twice per month. This week features foods from Iraq.

Outloud Youth: A group of LGBTQ2S+ youth (13 – 24) who meet once/month to socialize and have fun.

Raising Resilient Teens Talk: A free talk hosted at River’s Edge Counselling Centre. Participants must register ahead of time.

November 22

Snowflake Festival: Come to downtown St. Albert to kick off the holiday season with wagon rides, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa.

November 27

Community Tree Decorating: Come help decorate Morinville’s community tree at the Morinville Community Cultural Centre.

Cultivating Care in our Community Event: This “giving back event” includes assembling care kits for people in need and learning more about how to support people in your community during the holiday season.

November 29 – December 1

Lite up the Nite Festival: Celebrate the holiday season with amazing community events in downtown Morinville, including crafts and a parade!

November 30

Cruisin’ Clubhouse: St. Albert’s popular drop-in kids’ program is continuing into the fall this year, with special once/month events! Come to Naples Park in North Ridge to enjoy free activities for kids!

December 3

Outloud Junior: This group for LGBTQ2S+ children who are 12 years of age and under focuses on building positive relationships through stories and games. Meetings are held once/month.

December 5

Practicing Self-Compassion Talk: A free talk hosted at River’s Edge Counselling Centre. Participants must register ahead of time.

December 10

Cultural and Community Kitchen: This free cooking workshop at the St. Albert Community Village happens twice per month. This week features an “Around the World” holiday potluck.

December 14

Cruisin’ Clubhouse: St. Albert’s popular drop-in kids’ program is continuing into the fall this year, with special once/month events! Come to Havenwood Park in Heritage Lakes to enjoy free activities for kids!
