Edmonton International Fringe Festival: Check out the amazing performances and activities taking place in Old Strathcona! There are ticketed performances, but also free entertainment on-site at outdoor stages.

Thursdays TBD Legislature Tours: A free tour of the Alberta Legislature every Thursday evening during July and August. This tour is free, but participants must pre-register online. Free drop-in tours are also available daily (including weekends) at noon and 3 p.m.

Fridays at the Legislature: A free outdoor concert series hosted at the Alberta Legislature every Friday at noon during the summer months.

Drive-in Movie: Watch “Wonderpark” at St. Albert Centre’s drive-in movie night!

August 17 & 18

Alberta Open Farm Days: Check out this “province-side open house” on how Alberta’s food is produced. Many events and activities are taking place across the province.

Edmonton Marathon: It is free to come watch the marathon and participate in the on-site kids’ activities.

Elk Island Parkbus: Every Saturday during the summer (plus Sundays on long weekends), Parkbus offers free transportation to and from Elk Island National Park. Tickets must be reserved ahead of time online.

End of Summer Beach Bash: All St. Albert Junior High or High School students are invited to this end of summer party at Servus Place! Tickets are $5 on Eventbrite or $6 at the door.

Sourdough Raft Race: Come to Terwillegar Park in Edmonton for the 60th annual raft and a toonie pancake breakfast!

Stress Workshop: A free workshop on stress hosted by the St. Albert PCN.

BAM Super Fun Drama Games: A free FUN weekly activity for Junior High and High School students this summer in St. Albert’s Lion’s Park!

Morinville Leisure Centre Grand Opening: Come to the Morinville Leisure Centre for its official grand opening!

Active Living Fair: After the grand opening, stay at the Morinville Leisure Centre to explore different services, programs, and events being offered in the Morinville community.
